Catholicism for Beginners (OCIA) is a series of sessions oriented towards those who wish to become Catholic or those who wish to learn more about the Catholic Church (Unbaptized, Baptized but not Catholic, and Seekers). These sessions, geared towards adults, will help you to ask questions and grow in knowledge. But most importantly, Catholicism for Beginners will help you to answer Jesus’ question for each of us, “Who do you say that I am?”
We cover topics such as: the Gift of Faith, Saints, Who Is Jesus, Mary, and Why We Need the Church. We use Bishop Robert Barron’s Catholicism video series as a part of the sessions.
Sessions begin in the Fall on Monday nights; the first one will be September 23 from 7PM to 8:30PM in the Seton School library. To register for OCIA or if you need more information, please contact Deacon Spencer Parrott at [email protected]
