We invite you to return any Palm Branches from last year's Palm Sunday Masses by placing them in the basket at the entrance to the Church. Please return these Palms by Sunday, February 11th so they can be burned in time for Ash Wednesday Masses.

The Pilgrims Trail enlisted over 45 people who have contributed in time, talent and treasure since February of 2021, when first proposed. To keep this mission alive and well, however, we rely on you to take our mission for the Diocese of Lexington to a new level. Believe us when we say we are on a MISSION: -to promote understanding of the unique and diverse character of our 50 counties in Eastern and Central Kentucky; -to unite Catholic laity and clergy in a renewal of Faith through Encounters with other people in our diocese; -to encourage Catholics to know their diocese by visiting our 62 sacred spaces, 3 retreat locations and our cemeteries; -to support the universality of Catholicism as a Pilgrim Church where we share the joys and the sorrows of all humanity; -to grow in love for God, ourselves, each other and all of Creation. We deeply appreciate your participation and support by running these announcements. By reminding people, all members of our Pilgrim Church, that it is not buildings that make the Church, but the Hearts of its Pilgrims insuring safe havens, tender mercies, and the warmth of God's arms, you are serving full time in this mission.

A great note of thanks and appreciation to the faithful in our diocese who have offered their sacrifices, support and time through their presence and giving to the Diocesan Annual Appeal to help rebuild homes and lives in Eastern Kentucky after last year's tragic rain floods. We thank God for the leaders who rose up in our communities, the parishes that found renewal in mission, and the partnerships forged across the diocese. St. Elizabeth Ann Seton parishioner, Seton Catholic School parent, and School Council member, Nathan McNulty, recently went this month to help those suffering and still in need of shelter and order back in their lives after last year's devastating Eastern Kentucky rain floods. Nathan shared, This was a, "very rewarding experience working along side some very nice people." Woodworker(s) Needed for future indoor Parish Projects: Our Pastor and Principal are in need of discovering if we have a parishioner(s) who are skilled and willing to offer her/his time and talent on a few light construction parish projects. (1) Design, build and mount two strong pedestal shelves inside our church, and construct some wall design work inside the church. (2) More such opportunities may be requested at our school also.
